Ingredients

  • 1 small baguette, cut on the diagonal into 24 slices
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 5 ounces goat cheese
  • 1/3 cup Park Winters Fig Jam
  • 24 fresh basil leaves (tear in half if large)
  • 6 fresh figs, quartered (Black Mission figs recommended, but any variety works)
  • Olive oil, for finishing
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the broiler. Brush both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil and arrange on a baking sheet.
  2. Broil until golden, about 1–2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. Spread each toast with goat cheese, then top with a spoonful of Park Winters Fig Jam.
  4. Add one basil leaf and a fresh fig quarter to each crostini.
  5. Finish with a light drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper.
