Fig Jam and Grain Mustard Sandwich
Are you ready to take your sandwich game to the next level? We’ve got you covered with this recipe that includes two of our favorite Marketplace products that are locally grown and made from farms in Northern California.
Ingredients:
2 slices of bread (we love Upper Crust Baking Wheat Miche sourdough bread)
1 thick cheddar cheese slice
1 or 2 thick ham slides
1 bacon strip
Handful of arugula
Directions:
Cook bacon on medium heat, flipping over occasionally to cook evenly on each side. Let it cook until it’s crispy, but not burned. Set aside.
Toast the slices of bread to your liking.
Add the Fig Jam to one slice and top with cheese so it starts to melt while the bread is still hot.
Fold on the ham slices.
Grab a handful of arugula and place on top of ham slices.
Cut the bacon in half and add to sandwich.
Slather Preserve Mustard on the other slice of bread.
Smoosh sandwich together and cut in half.
Admire and devour!
